The Peace Gardens, Sheffield

The Peace Gardens is a beautiful peaceful place where it has known as an award-winning public space situated in the heart of the city, Sheffield. It is located along the Pinstone Street where nearby the Winter Garden and Millennium Gallery. The garden is beautifully decorated with fountains and water features.

There are four pairs of water fountains recognised as the Holbery Cascades could be found when passing by the four entrances of the Peace Gardens. It is quite interesting to know that the pouring water of the fountains represents the steel city of Sheffield.

It would be a great public area as there are plenty of seats provided for relaxing and also a place where suitable for having a lunch break and picnic as well. During the summer, you can see a lot of children running around in the fountains, having fun playing water with each other as the fountains are flat to the ground. There are also plenty of events will be held in the summer holidays.

The Peace Gardens would definitely be a great spot for everyone to visit especially on a hot summer’s day. Entry is free all year round so it’s definitely worth a visit as you don’t have to pay plus you can also get in touch with its interesting history and background.

“If you have the chance to come when the sun is out, you’ll find this place absolutely stunning in the heart of the city centre.”
