Norfolk Heritage Park, Sheffield

Norfolk Park is also known as Norfolk Heritage Park. This park has a long history, as it is one of the oldest public parks in the country. It was opened in 1848. Norfolk Park has playgrounds for children under 8 years old and over 8 years old. There’s lots of sports pitches and the centre in the Park with a Cafe. It is open throughout the year and frees to visit.

There are also football pitches, 2 bowling greens, and a multi-use games area. Health walks are held every Friday, and Junior football is available for kids under 14 years of age. This place is perfect for picnics and barbecues too. If you want a less active day, there’s plenty of space for you to relax, plus a Wild Flower garden to enjoy. The Centre in the Park offers houses a cafe as well as public toilets.
