Buckingham Palace is residence of the British royal family and one of the most emblematic places in London. Changing the Guard is one of the palace’s oldest traditions and a unique event that you shouldn’t miss while you visit London. Peddler Night Market @ Sheffield

On the first weekend of each month, 92 Burton Road on Kelham Island becomes the place of the Peddler Night Market for a street food fest on Friday and Saturday. Peddler is serving wonderful street food from local vendors or well-known ones from further away. There’s also live music and private traders, as well as plenty of alcohol and non-alcohol choices for you to choose from. The choice of meals at Peddler is always huge! Most traders will provide vegetarian and/or vegan options, and there is often at least one sole dessert trader. You may also find vegetarian or vegan vendors in Peddler.

When you enter Peddler on the front, you will be welcomed by a variety of vendors as well as a bench space surrounded by a marquee on the right of you, where you can sit and eat. As you reach the warehouse, you will spot more vendors on the left of you, past the main bar, and line the back wall near the entrance to the back courtyard. Outside are further vendors as well as the usual suspects, The Depot Bakery in the opposite direction, the Nether Edge Pizza Company on the right at the rear, as well as The Gravel Pit serving plants and terrariums, and then the door to the Kelham Arcade.

Liverpool it’s a city of creative types, music lovers and culture addicts. Music is Liverpool’s lifeblood. It’s the heartbeat of the city. Music is at the very core of what unites Liverpool and makes it unique. Liverpool was declared as UNESCO City of Music in 2015. This music city is a lot more than its legacy. We have a thriving music scene in a city complete of musical talent expressed in its booming live scene and a variety of locations. Just look at the music festivals highlighting Liverpool’s international status and rich history of the port.

Liverpool has Africa Oye, Europe’s largest African music festival, Liverpool Irish Festival reflecting our strong Irish relations, Arabic Arts Festival, Sound City, Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF), Fusion, Positive Vibration etc. There’s also an outstanding international reputation orchestra which is Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra (RLPO).

In this city, music education and talent development are important. If you want to study music or the music industry, Liverpool has more decisions than anywhere else in the world, with the three universities and the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) providing a wide variety of options.

Liverpool is a birthplace of a rock band, they are The Beatles. The Beatles formed in 1960 with members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. At the beginning of the 1960s, their popularity first emerged as “Beatlemania,” a term describing the intense fan frenzy directed at the British band. The phenomenon started in 1963 and continued with the breakup of the band in 1970.

They became popular in the United Kingdom after their first hit, “Love Me Do,” at the end of 1962. They obtained the surname “Fab Four” as Beatlemania developed in Britain in the previous year. By the beginning of 1964, they had become international stars, prompting the “British Invasion” of the United States pop market. After their break up in 1970, they each enjoyed a good musical career of variable duration. McCartney and Starr, the remaining members, remain involved musically. Lennon was shot and murdered in December 1980, and Harrison died in November 2001 of lung cancer.

Mayfield Alpacas Farm @ Sheffield

An awesome day begins on a sunny day with nice weather. We decided to visit alpacas and some cute animals at Mayfield Alpacas Farm. This farm located 30 minutes away from our accommodation. Our journey begins by taking coach no.4 at Charles Street. You can access the entire farm at a reasonable price of £ 3.50, you can also purchase some food to feed the alpacas which cost £ 0.50 per pack.

The farm is quite big with a circular road that allows you to walk for one to two hours to meet more animals. It is an ideal place to stop for brunch or lunch, because there is a nice cafe near the parking lot, and there is an outdoor sitting area. I would definitely recommend this place for a day trip to Sheffield.

“This farm is an alpaca lover’s dream. An absolutely fantastic farmhouse to adorable alpacas that you can feed and pet as well as a lot of other animals. Has a lovely cafe and amazing views of the area around. Definitely worth going to.”
